To safely carry your 2 kayaks on your 2004 Mercedes C240 you will first need a roof rack since the vehicle does not have one. The most cost effective option that fits your vehicle is # RR36ZR for 2-door models or # RR29ZR for 4-door models.
With a roof rack installed you could then use the J-style carrier # S512 which by itself holds one kayak. But it can hold 2 kayaks by adding the expansion arm # RRS512X. The carrier has a capacity of 99 pounds.
