Replacement Brake Magnet for 12 x 2 Inch AL-KO Electric Brakes on a 2009 Cougar 5th Wheel Trailer
Question:
I have a 2009 Cougar by Keystone 5th wheel with a ALKO 12inch X 2inch electric brake, rated at 6,000 to 7,000 lbs. I need 4 new magnets. My service book lists part # K568111 for the magnets and I dont know which of your magnets is correct, the AKBRK-M12 or the BP01-180? Please advise

You can actually use either magnet, # BP01-180 or # AKBRKR-M12, since your trailer is well past the 1988 cutoff for AL-KO assemblies. There is no advantage of one magnet over the other so I would go with # AKBRKR-M12 since it costs less.
