Recommended Items Needed For Flat-Towing A 2014 Ford F-150
Question:
I purchased a Roadmaster Falcon towbar a few months back from you to tow my 2015 Jeep, Model RM-520.....Im going to be switching tow vehicles, going to a 2014 Ford F150.....The truck weighs about 4,900 lbs.....will this tow bar work ok for the Ford Truck? Thanks

You can use the Falcon 2, part # RM-520 to tow your F-150. The tow bar has a 6,000 lb limit so you will be within the capacity.
If you do not have the base plates you can check out the attached link to our product page for the base plates we offer for your truck. If you do not have EcoBoost on your truck you can use part # 495-1A. If you do have EcoBoost on your truck the base plates that will work are part # RM-524431-5.
Since you have already been flat-towing you probably have the other items needed to tow. In case you do not I recommend part # RM-643 for safety cables.
If you are not towing often I recommend the magnetic lighting, part # PE26UR. For a more permanent lighting solution I recommend part # RM-15267.
For a supplemental brake system I recommend part # SM99251.
When towing you want the system as level as possible so you may need a high-low adapter. I have attached a link to our product page for the adapters you can check out.
I have also attached links to some helpful articles for flat-towing you may want to take a look at.
