Adding 4-Way To Rear of Trailer for Towing Second Trailer
Question:
I have a fifth wheel and am looking to install the adjustable curt hitch to tow a small trailer behind. Is there some type of kit I can purchase to run electrical wires for lighting to the 2nd trailer? Thanks for your help.

Expert Reply:
To add a 4-way to the rear of your trailer will require you to hardwire a 4-way to the taillight circuits of the trailer. For that you would want the part # A35W42B which is a 42 inch long harness that would allow you to tap into the wires of your trailer circuits with quick splices like the # SWC501746-1.
It might be easiest to run all of the circuits from your first trailer to a junction box like part # 38656 and then run the additional 4-way from that to your second trailer. I attached an install video for more info for you to check out as well.
