How to Wire a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser for a 90885 Prodigy P2 Electric Brake Controller
Question:
I have a 2007 FJ Cruiser with the 4 pin tow wiring included from the Mfg. Now I am putting in a 7 Pin connector and Brake Controller. I need to know which wire under the dash is used to connect the brake light lead on the controller. Do you happen to know?

The Toyota stoplight wire color is normally green with a white tracer, but you would need to test to confirm whether this is correct for your 2007 FJ Cruiser.
Locate your stoplight switch and use a circuit tester on the wires that come out of it. The wire you are looking for will get power when the brake pedal is pressed, but will not have a power reading when the pedal is released. Connect the red wire from the P2 brake controller to this wire.
You can view some additional information on wiring for a brake controller below, as well as an installation video of a similar brake controller being put on a 2008 FJ Cruiser.
