Will Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter AM3139 Work on Flatbed
Question:
Hello, We have 2 2012 Dodge Ram 2500s. One is a Mega Cab with a BandW turnover ball and one is a regular cab with a flatbed with a recessed ball. Will the AM3139 work with both of these vehicles? Thanks for your time.

The Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter # AM3139 will work on any standard (non-cushioned) 5th wheel pin box. With a gooseneck ball that is mounted on a flat bed truck you will want to make sure that there is enough space around the ball to allow the coupler to grip it. Sometimes flatbeds can have the ball recessed in a hole.
My contact at Anderson Rapid Hitch advised that this coupler requires a circular area of no less than 5-5/8-inches centered around the base of the ball in order for the base of the adapter to fully grip the gooseneck ball.
