Recommended Fifth Wheel Hitch for a Reese Revolution Pin Box and 2015 Dodge Ram 2500

Question:

I have a ram 2015 2500 short bed and I'm buying a fifth wheel that comes with a Reese Revolution Pin Box. I have the ram fifth wheel prep group. I was wanting to get the companion hitch. Would this be a good match for my truck and the reese revolution? Or should I look into a slider type hitch?

The B&W Companion Hitch # BWRVK3600 is a great hitch and is compatible with your Reese Revolution Pin Box. I recommend this hitch for you as it can fit on your 2015 Dodge Ram 2500 with a factory tow kit and it is made from gray powder coated steel which is corrosion resistant.

The Reese Revolution Pin Box gives you the turning clearance you need so your fifth wheel trailer does not hit the cab of your truck when towing with a short bed truck. You will not be able to use a sliding hitch with your Reese Revolution Pin Box because rotating pin boxes are not compatible with sliding hitches because the pin weight is placed too far back behind the axle and the pin box will hit the tailgate.
