Roof Rack Option for Class C Motor Home to Carry SUPs
Question:
Am I not getting something here? I have a flat roof top motor home c class . I just need two bars that will attach to a flat roof. Is my only option the Rhino Rack Roof System? Thats a ridiculous price for two bars. I dont need them to be adjustable. Are there any other options?

Roof racks that are compatible with a Class C motor home are few and far between, but a track-mounted, adjustable roof rack system like the Rhino-Rack System with Heavy-Duty Crossbars # Y01-140B is not your only option to carry your SUPs on top of your motor home.
Since there are not custom fit roof racks for motor homes, a system that installs into the frame of the motorhome along the top edge of the roof is the way to go. You will want to install the crossbar mounts along the outside of the roof in order to drill into the frame components, otherwise the installation may not be secure enough.
Because of the typical width of a motor home, our more budget-friendly roof racks that are designed to fit pop-up campers are not likely going to work for you to carry your SUPs on your motor home.
A carrier like the Inno Boardlocker Board Carrier # INA744 will work to carry up to 3 boards and will fit the Thule square crossbars.
