7-Way Trailer Socket Mounting Bracket for 2011 Nissan Frontier
Question:
I have a 2011 Nissan Frontier king cab 4X4. I purchased a 7 pin trailer wiring package from the Nissan dealer. There was no mounting bracket for the connector. I checked all over town and nobody has anything that will fit it. Do you have a mounting bracket for this connector or is this something that is integrated into the frame as an OEM part or bracket?

Expert Reply:
We do offer 7-way mounting brackets for vehicles that are equipped with a 7-way type trailer socket like the one included with part # 118266 and these are shown on the linked page. Many of these have multiple holes to allow them to accept 7-ways from different makers. Your best bet is to add a no-drill bracket to your hitch, part # 18140, and then add a 7-way bracket # PK12711U to it. You will possibly need to drill a few new holes on one or both parts to join them. Some aftermarket hitches like # 75282 have a built-in mounting point for a 7-way bracket but your OEM hitch may not.
