We can help you with the parts you need to add electric brakes to your 2016 Wells Cargo Fast Trac 5x8 enclosed trailer. In fact we even have a complete FAQ article on the topic that I have linked for you which includes info on all the items needed. The trailer axle will need to have brake flanges to mount the brakes; you'll need the left- and right-hand brakes themselves, hub/rotors to fit those brakes and spindles, wiring components, a breakaway kit and a brake controller in the tow vehicle.

I linked our page for brake flanges if you do not already have them on your axle. You will need to know your axle diameter. Note flanges must be welded on perfectly straight by a qualified welder who has the required equipment. Select brakes based on the axle weight rating; you can usually find this on a sticker or plate right on the axle. Your new hub/drums must use the same bearings as your existing hubs to ensure they will fit. Pull one of your hubs and note the bearing numbers. Then match new hubs by the bearings and bolt pattern of your wheels (see linked article on bolt patterns).

You'll also need wire like # 10-2-1 and wiring components like those in kit # HM51020, as well as a breakaway kit like # 50-85-315 which will stop the trailer in the event of a disconnect. Finally you'll need a brae controller in the tow vehicle that works with electric drum brakes; a great choice is the Prodigy P2 # 90885 which is easy to set-up and very reliable.
