Question:
Can this tow a jet ski on a single trailer? Is it a pain to install?

The Draw Tite trailer hitch part # 24767 that is a confirmed fit for your 2003 Cadillac CTS and has the towing capacities of 2,000 lbs total trailer and 200 lbs tongue weight. Most Jet Ski trailers weigh less than that so as long as the vehicle has the needed capacity as well you this will work. You will want to check the placard on the inside of your driver's door for your vehicles towing capacities. I also found a section of your owner's manual about towing a trailer you should check out starting on page 4-34.
The hitch install is more complicated than most, but not out of reason for you to do. Lots of our customers also have their local shop to install the hitch. For this hitch you will need to lower the exhaust, remove the spare tire and drill holes into the trunk and seal them back up with a silicone like # LT37467. I have linked an installation video on a different year CTS but the install will be the same.
To tow a jet ski trailer you will also need a ball mount like # 3594 and a ball which depending on your trailer coupler size you will need the 2 inch ball # 19258 or the 1-7/8 inch ball # 19256.
I have linked all the above mentioned products to this page for your purchasing convenience.
