Recommended Adapter To Carry Womens Bike On Thule Hitch Mounted Hanging Bike Rack
Question:
I recently purchased and am using the above mentioned bike rack and I love it. However, one question.... My wifes bike is the standard girls bike with the down bar between the seat and handlebar post. Hope Im describing that right? Anyway I was a bit befuddled as to how to mount it on the rack. Is there a video that shows how to do so for a girls bike? I ended up mounting it upside down on the rack but Im not sure that is the best way. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

We have exactly what you need. You need an adapter bar like part # 64005. This attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and allows the bike to be carried more level in the carrier while providing additional ground clearance. I have attached a product review video for this adapter bar.
