Will Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack Fit a 2011 Subaru Outback with Aftermarket Trailer Hitch
Question:
I am interested in the Thule Hitching Post Pro for a 2011 Subaru Outback with a U-Haul hitch but looking at the QA section Chris M asked, about the distance between the center of the hitch pin and the end of the bumper in question Hitch Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2015 Subaru Forester with a 1-1/4 inch OEM Hitch. Jameson C. said Since the pin hole on the factory Subaru hitch on the 2014 Forester is so close to the end of the receiver, the only racks that are really safe to use in that hitch are the Yakima racks Would I have any issues with my setup?

Since you do not have the factory Subaru hitch installed on your 2011 Outback you will not have to worry about the hitch pin hole location relative to the end of the receiver. Aftermarket hitches like the one you have are set up perfectly for accessories like a bike rack such as the Thule Hitching Post Pro, # TH934XTR. I have linked a video review of this bike rack on a 2011 Outback that has an aftermarket hitch similar to yours.
