How to Carry 3 Bikes on a 2014 Kia Soul Plus that Can Only Use a Class I Trailer Hitch

There is a way to carry 3 bikes on your 2014 Kia Soul. But the trailer hitches available for your 2014 Kia Soul are Class I trailer hitches. This means that you can only carry up to 2 bikes maximum because any additional bikes would be too far from the receiver and put too much stress on it resulting in damage to the hitch and/or vehicle.

To carry 3 bikes you can use a 3-bike trunk mount bike rack such as # TH911XT. This will also be more cost effective since you do not have to purchase a trailer hitch. I have linked the 3-bike trunk mount racks for your Soul.

If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
