Would Yakima Forklift Allow Rear Hatch of 2016 Honda CR-V to Open
Question:
I have a Honda 2016 CRV. With the Forklift installed on the roof of the car, can the back hatch be opened? Thanks.

One way or another the hatch of your 2016 Honda CR-V could be opened with the Yakima Forklift part # Y02098 installed. In the worst case scenario the rack would just get reversed. But based on the length of your vehicle you would not have to worry as the track would not extend too far back.
I attached a demo video that shows this rack being used on a similar CR-V as yours and it had no problem of fitting.
