Will 5th Wheel Brackets and Rails from a Dodge Ram 3500 Fit a 2000 Chevy Silverado 2500
Question:
Im buying a hitch from a person and its coming off a dodge 3500 and I own a chevy 2500 will the brackets and rails work ?

If the rails and brackets are kit # RP30035 then yes, they do fit your 2000 Chevy Silverado. If they are custom brackets then they will not fit. The universal kit RP30035 uses L-brackets. Custom brackets would not look anything like them. I added a picture of an L-Bracket for you.
The hardware will have to be replaced though. The installation kit hardware was meant for one time installation only. For the hardware only use # 58164.
If the brackets are custom then you will need to replace them with some that are designed to fit your 2000 Chevy Silverado, # RP50064.
