Parts Needed to Install Brake Controller in 1996 Ford F-53-Based Class A Motorhome

Im looking for a wire harnesses to connect my prodigy p2 to my Damon challenger it a1997 on a ford f50 chassis. It has an open plug but its different than my f350 .is anything available

Chances are good that your 1997 Damon Class A motorhome was built on a 1996 model year Ford F-53 chassis. Ford did not install brake controller ports on that model year F-53 (they did starting in 1999) so to install a brake controller like the Prodigy P2 # 90885 you'll do a hard-wired installation using our kit # ETBC7. You will also probably need some extra duplex wire # 10-2-1.
