What is the Height of the Bumper Mounted Tire Spare Carrier # TR-1 from the Top of the Bumper
Question:
I am wanting to use this on my 2003 Dutchmen hybrid camper. Since the rear folds down, I need to know the dimensions of the tire holder, specifically the distance from the top of the bumper to the top of the mount.

The distance from where the Bumper Mounted Spare Tire Carrier - U-Bolt Mount, item # TR-1, will mount to the top of the bumper to the top of the spare tire carrier is 13-1/8 inches. There is a metal tab on the back of the spare carrier that rests on the top of the bumper when mounted.
You will need to keep in mind that the spare tire will mount to the carrier and will stick up 1/2 of the overall diameter of the tire from the center of the tire mounting location.
The center of the spare tire mounting location is 10 inches above where the carrier is mounted at the top of the bumper. This means that if the overall diameter of the spare is 27 inches then the overall height from the top of the bumper will be 13-1/2 inches (1/2 of 27) plus 10 inches (center of tire mounting location) equals 23-1/2 inches.
