2011 Chevy Avalanche Weight Distribution Recommendation for Towing Trailer w 1,000 lb Tongue Weight
Question:
I have a 2011 Chevy Avalanche LT and want to buy a WDH to help me tow a loaded boat and trailer that will weigh about 1000p to 1100lbs. According to the sticker on my hitch its says its rated for 12000lbs with a tongue weight of 1500lbs. Will this product work for me.

If you are sure that your loaded tongue weight would be between 1,000 and 1,100 lbs the Equalizer system part # EQ37120ET would be an excellent choice as the Equalizer brand of WD systems is often regarded as one of the nicest systems around.
For a thin walled socket to install the included ball you would want the part # ALL643216.
You should note that the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your vehicle needs to be considered as tongue weight as well. If you needed a higher rated system you instead would want the part # EQ37140ET which has a tongue weight range up to 1,400 lbs.
