The fit info for the # AS-550 does not carry over for the 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 double cab so while I cannot recommend it for you I can have you check out the Bestop TrekStep # B7540015 which is a similar pull out step that mounts in the same area that is confirmed as a fit for your truck.
