Does SMI DUO Supplemental Braking System Draw Power from Vehicle Battery
Question:
If I install this in my 2016 Jeep Wrangler, do I need a separate battery charging line from the motor home to keep the jeep battery from discharging when using this brake system, or does the motor home power the brake system? Thanks,

The SMI DUO part # SM99251 will draw power from your 2016 Jeep Wrangler battery to operate so what you can do is run a charge wire from the positive post of your battery to the 12 volt accessory pin of your tow motorhome's trailer connector like you mentioned.
This will keep the battery maintained while you are flat towing. For 10 gauge wire we have the part # 10-1-1 which is sold by the foot. The 1:00 pin of the 7-way will be the 12 volt circuit.
I attached an install video for this kit on a similar 2014 Jeep Wrangler for you to check out as well.
