Can Ground Wire On T-One Trailer Wiring Harness Be Secured In Place With Electrical Tape
Question:
Is it required to drill a hole and use the enclosed screw for the white ground wire? Or could I just use black electrical tape and take the eye of the white wire to the metal in the installation area?

One of the biggest issues customers run into is when the ground wire(white wire) is not secured very well. It can cause unpredictable results that range from some lights not working to none of the lights working, and can happen at the worst time.
The ground wire needs to be secured to a clean, bare metal surface to provide the ground for the harness and to ensure it works properly. I recommend finding a nearby screw that is already fastened on the vehicle. You can take it out, and then use it to secure the ground wire on the wiring harness with the screw.
