Parts Needed to Install 7-way on a 1999 Ford Expedition to Install Brake Controller
Question:
I have a 1999 ford expedition, Im pretty sure I dont have factory tow package. But will this harness plug in similar to the video and work the brake controller for the trailer brakes of a travel trailer? I have a brake controller that I got from a friend, I already installed this with the proper adapter. I just need to wire the truck for the 7 wire plug.

Sounds like you do not have any trailer wiring at all on your 1999 Ford Expedition and want to install a 7-way. You will need a 7-way and a 4-way to accomplish this.
You will need to start with a 4-way (if you do not have one). For that you would want the # 118344.
From there you would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that you can install the brake controller. For that you will want the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter part # ETBC7. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product as well.
The blue wire of your brake controller would need to be ran to the blue wire of the # ETBC7 but the rest of the controller should already be wired up.
