Wiring Adapter for Installing Tekonsha Voyager Brake Controller in 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2500

I wired up the controler using a oe wire harness to the truck and the controler will not conect to the trailer. When I use the manual brake lever on the controler it lights up the brake lights on the vehicle

It sounds like the harness you're using to connect your Voyager Brake Controller # 39510 to your 2002 Silverado 2500 is pinned-out incorrectly. The correct harness for installing the Voyager in a 2002 Silverado 2500 with the factory 7-way is part # 3025-P.
If you compare the photo of this harness' vehicle-side connector that I linked for you to the pin-out arrangement on your harness chances are you'll find that they are not the same. You may be able to change the pin-out of your harness to match the configuration of part # 3025-P. If not, then this part should get you going.
