5th Wheel Installation Kit for 1997 Ford F-350 Long Bed Pickup
Question:
I am looking for 5th wheel Base rail installation kit. I have a 97 f-350 long bed. The 5th wheel is a Reese classic 15k part number 30032. Thanks for the help.

Helpful Expert Reply:
For your 1997 Ford F-350 long bed pickup (without the overload springs) the easiest 5th wheel installation kit you can use is a custom type kit. These reduce drilling and overall required installation time since they use existing holes in the frame for the rail brackets.
You can use Demco custom install kit # DM8552005-71. If you happen to prefer an economical universal-fit install kit then you can use part # RP30035 from Reese.
Both kits provide industry-standard rails (ISRs) that work with standard hitches from B&W, Curt, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Husky and others.
For a 5th wheel wiring harness for the truck bed you can use part # 20023.
