Availability of Air Bag Suspension Kit for 2001 Toyota Tundra 2WD
Question:
I have a 2001 Tundra 2wd truck I want to install my Firestone Riderite airbags on. Can I but just the mounting hardware for the airbags? If I can, then I could just remove the airbags from my 2013 Tacoma and install them in my Tundra.

Your 2001 2WD Toyota Tundra and your 2013 Tacoma do not use the same Firestone air suspension kits so you cannot move the kit from the Tacoma over to the Tundra, but we do have two kits made specifically for your 2WD Tundra that you can see on the linked page. Firestone does not offer a brackets-only kit that will allow transferring the air bags between trucks.
Firestone Ride-Rite kit # F2245 fits the 2WD 2001 Tundra with the TRD package.
If you want automated inflation/deflation from the comfort of the cab you can add a compressor like Air Command # F2158 which will control both bags evenly, or the dual-function compressor # F2178 that allows independent adjustment of each bag. Always keep at least 5-psi pressure in the bags at all times (and no more than 100-psi). Air bag kits do not increase the vehicle's load-carrying capability.
