Comparing Speed Ratings of Kenda and Taskmaster Radial Trailer Tires
Question:
Trying to decide between the Provider ST radial and the Kenda Karrier radial both on the modular rim. The speed rating for Provider is M. What is the speed rating of the Karrier like on AM32673? Please let me know. Thank you.

Unless we indicate a higher speed rating for a tire it will generally carry a nominal 65-mph speed rating. This is the case for the Kenda Karrier ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire with 15-inch Modular White Wheel # AM32673. The Taskmaster # TA92FR does indeed offer a substantially higher M-speed rating of 81-mph. For interstate highway travel, with speed limits potentially above 65-mph, I do recommend the Taskmaster.
Operating a trailer tire at or above its maximum speed for long continuous periods will cause it to run hotter. Some safety margin is always desirable so if you plan to run the tires at 65-70-mph then go for the Taskmaster.
Trailer tires should always be fully-inflated to the maximum rated psi pressure as noted on the tire sidewall. It is never appropriate to under- or over-inflate a trailer tire.
