Trailer Hitch Recommendations for 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude w/ V6 Engine
Question:
Can you please confirm the C13171 works on a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude with V6 engine? Some of the other hitches state they do not, but this one does not mention it.

The Curt Class III hitch you referenced, part # C13171 is a fit for ALL models of the 2015 Cherokee. I've confirmed this with my Curt representative.
If you'd prefer a hitch with a crossbar that's completely concealed behind the bumper so that the only visible portion of the hitch is the receiver opening, I'd recommend the Curt Class III, part # C13172 which is also a fit for all Cherokee models. This hitch will require that a 3-1/2 by 4-3/4 portion of the underside of the rear fascia is trimmed (as shown in the linked instructions). The # C13171 would leave the entire crossbar exposed under the rear bumper.
If you'll be using the hitch for towing as well as an attachment point for hitch mounted accessories, you'll need the following items to complete your towing system:
Trailer wiring harness, part # 118605
Ball mount kit, part # 989900 offers two ball mounts and a 1-7/8 as well as a 2 inch trailer ball
If you click the provided link, you can see install videos for the two different hitches and the trailer wiring harness.
