Is Crossbar Spread More For Rhino-Rack Roof Rack Versus Thule On 2014 Acura RDX

Question:

Hello, Im interested in getting the Rhino-rack Rs2500 for my Acura RDX naked roof and was wondering if you had any pictures of this rack on the vehicle. I found pictures a Thule add on rack and the bars looked very close together so was wondering if the Rhino-rack would be just as close. Thanks in advance for the help

You are correct. The Thule Roof Racks crossbar spread is almost 3 inches less than the roof racks offered by Rhino Rack for your RDX. For the Rhino-Rack roof racks the crossbar spread is 27.56 inches and the spread for Thule roof racks is 24.75 inches.

The Rhino-Rack Roof Rack, part # RR66GR would be a great fit for your Acura. This roof rack features aerodynamic elliptical crossbars that have a flush design to give your vehicle that factory roof rack look. The crossbars have Vortex rubber strips that can be removed to allow channel-mounted accessories to be used, or you can use clamp-on accessories with the rack. This roof rack has a Matte black finish. The crossbars measure 3-1/8 inches wide and 1-3/16 inches tall which is important when you want to use any accessories with it. You want to make sure you do not exceed the roof weight capacity for your vehicle.

I have attached a link to some of the roof mounted accessories that can work with the roof rack. If you have any questions about a specific item let me know and I can make some recommendations that will work for you.
