Parts Needed to Convert 2013 Toyota Tacoma from 4-Pole to 7-Way Trailer Wiring
Question:
I have a 2013 Toyota Tacoma 4-door V6 Prerunner with 2WD, with an after market hitch wired for 4-pin connection. I need to upgrade to 7-pin wiring for a new trailer I am buying that has electric brakes. What is the best procedure for that please? Thank you.

All you need to update your Tacoma's 4-pole trailer wiring is our kit # ETBC7. This kit includes all of the components needed to have a working 7-way RV-style trailer connector. I linked a video for you showing the kit being installed in a 2009 Tacoma.
The kit will allow hardwired installation of a trailer brake controller like the highly-rated Prodigy P2 # 90885. The Prodigy offers exceptional reliability and user-friendly features that make it easy to install and use.
