3 Bike Rack Compatible With 2005 Nissan Murano and 2009 Ford Fusion

Question:

I'm concerned about any damage to my car due to the wait to transport 3 bikes on my 2005 Nissan Murano SL. I already got an answer that the 2 bike rack would work just fine, but does the same notion applies to the 3 bike rack and can I also use it on a 2009 Ford Fusion ? I really like the easiness of installing this Thule rack. If that is not the case, which other rack would work that has the same system like the TH56BV? Thank you for your prompt attention.

We do carry a bike rack that would work with both your 2005 Nissan Murano and your 2009 Ford Fusion and would allow you to carry 3 bikes. The Hollywood Racks # HRF2-3 Over the Top bike rack features a central support that means the weight of the racks won't be hanging from the spoiler at the top of the hatchback of your Murano and possibly damaging it. It's also compatible with your Fusion. I'll link you to a video showing how the Over the Top rack works.

The 3 bike version of the Thule OutWay, part # TH56BV isn't compatible with either of your vehicles, due to the extra weight of the third bike, but the 2 bike version, part # TH45JV would fit both of your vehicles.
