Determining Best Replacement Stove Range Hood Vent

The ventline range hood s0721 12 x 24 for $63.22 said its for 12 inch cabinet. I have an 18 inch cabinet. Would I have fabricate an extension to fill the gap between hood and the vent? Thank you

Ventline S0721 Series RV Range Hood # S0721-24BD-F-1 measures 24-inches wide and it requires a cabinet depth of 12-inches (meaning 6-inches of the hood's 18-inch total depth extends forward of the cabinet surface). If your cabinets are 18-inches deep this means that the entire depth of the hood will be under the cabinet when installed. This should not pose any issues.
