How Does a Prodigy P2 Brake Controller Install in a 2007 GMC Sierra Truck
Question:
I have a 2007 GMC Sierra new body style with factory tow package. Does this controller that is listed for the factory 7- way plug come with the wiring adapter that just plugs in to the truck so I dont have to splice and connect wires?

Expert Reply:
On your 2007 GMC Sierra there isn't a plug for installing the part # 90885 as the vehicle doesn't have a port to accept it. To install a controller in your truck requires wiring it to the 4 wires under the dash of the truck that are present there.
I attached a help article that covers this plus an install video that shows the controller being installed as well.
