Dimensions of the Curt Hitch part # 31545 to Determine Ground Clearance

Question:

Hi, can you tell me the distances between the horizontal mounting tab 1 and the bottom of the main bar 2 and the distance between the tab and the bottom of the receiver 3? See attached pic if that helps! Trying to figure out how low the hitch sits and affects clearance. 2009 Explorer XLT.

I attached a picture that shows the dimensions you are looking for. From the frame to the bottom of the cross tube of the hitch measures 5 inches. From the frame then down to the bottom of the receiver tube measures 8 inches.
