Recommended High/Low Adapter for Flat Towing a Jeep Behind a Motorhome

Question:

We recently purchased a motorhome that has a factory installed Reese 2inch receiver that sits 30 inches from the ground to center of the receiver. The Jeep we tow is shy of 20 inches to the center to ground. Which receiver would be ideal for this situation? Thank you.

It sounds like the problem you are trying to fix is that your tow bar does not sit level while your Jeep is being flat towed.

According to Blue Ox and Roadmaster, most tow bars can be off-level by 3 inches at the base plates but the closer to level you are the better it will be. Based on the measurements you provided, I recommend using the High/Low adapter # RM-048-10. This adapter would place the tow bar's attachment to the hitch only 1/4 of an inch from level which will be great for your Jeep and Motorhome.
