I contacted our representative at Reese and he informed me that there are 2 Springs in the Reese 16k 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, part # RP30047 that are the same size and same part #.
The two replacement springs are identical, and are the Replacement Spring for Reese and Draw - Tite Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitches, part # 30776, these are the springs you will need for your Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, part # RP30047.
If a spring fell out from your Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, part # RP30047, when you removed it the unit could be broken. I would recommend having the unit checked by a professional to make sure nothing is damaged and that the spring can just be replaced or if a new hitch is needed.
