To transport your electric bikes I recommend the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 2-Bike Carrier for Electric Bicycles # HLY84FR. This bike rack is designed to accommodate heavy electric bikes, having a weight capacity of 80 pounds per bike. A hitch-mount, platform rack like this will also be easier to load your bikes on than a hanging rack.
The Sport Rider SE # HLY84FR will fit trailer hitches with a 2 inch hitch receiver and comes with an anti-rattle hitch lock to secure the carrier to your vehicle's trailer hitch. The rack's adjustable wheel cradles secure you bikes at the wheels, and can accommodate bikes with wheel bases up to 60 inches. Since these wheel cradles secure the bike at the bottom of the wheel, this rack is great for bikes with fenders.
The ratcheting hook secures your bike at a 3rd point, by the frame. With your step-though frame bikes, it is possible that you will need a bike adapter bar, like # 64005, to secure the ratcheting arm. The Swagman Adapter Bar # 64005 adjusts from 24 3/8" to 33 3/4" and secures between the bike's handlebar upright and the seat post. I spoke with my contact at Hollywood Racks, and he confirmed that an adapter bar is the best solution when securing bikes with step-through frames.
I have attached a review video of this rack for you, as well as a review video of the bike adapter bar.
If your vehicle does not have a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver, feel free to let me know the year, make, and model of your vehicle and I will be happy to make a trailer hitch recommendation for you.
