Hitch for 2005 Chevy 26 Foot Motor Home With 2 Inch Receiver to Launch and Haul a Boat
Question:
I have a 2005 Chevy chassis with a 26 foot motor home and needed to be able to attach a 2 inch hitch receiver for launching a 17 foot boat and trailer Does anything exist for bolting/welding ?

Expert Reply:
Yes, we offer several different bolt-on frame mounted hitches. There are several to choose from that are adjustable to fit many models of motor homes and can be adjusted to fit your chassis.
The frame mounted hitch is recommended because you can adjust it to fit your motor home and is better for towing as opposed to the bumper receiver hitch, part # E-100 that you selected. You will want to check with the motor home manufacturer before using the # E-100 hitch to make sure the bumper is rated to tow any weight.
Below is a link to the various bolt-on hitches that we offer for motor homes. You will need to measure the width of the frame on your motor home and select the hitch that will work for your motor home. I would recommend going with a frame-mounted hitch as it is a better option for towing and you can choose the hitch that can handle towing your boat and trailer.
