Industry Standard Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Recommendation for 2016 Silverado 3500HD

Question:

I want to put the rails from my old truck BandW BWRVR3210 in my new 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD and want to confirm that the BWRVK2605 mounting brackets will work. The BandW website list it will fit a 2015, but they dont list 2016. Could you let me know if they will work for sure? Thanks!

I have a solution that would work perfectly for you, but as of right now (March 2016) B and W does not have a set of industry standard fifth wheel rails for your 2016 Chevy Silverado.

Since the rails you are wanting to install in the bed of your truck are industry standard rails you could simply go with a different brand of industry standard rails and your fifth wheel hitch would install just fine.

The Curt custom rail kit part # C16411-204 is priced great and would fit your truck and hitch well. This is a custom install kit so it would install in about half the time as a universal kit and would minimize drilling. I attached an install video for you to check out as well.

Whatever hitch you have that installed in the BWRVR3210 rails will fit the curt rails too.

For a 7-way to install in the bed of your truck to make connecting your trailer lights easier you would want the part # 41157. Most 7-ways will be at the rear of the truck near the bumper which doesn't work will with fifth wheel hitches.
