Fit of Firestone Air Helper Springs w/ 5th Wheel Hitch Install Brackets on 2012 Chevy Silverado 3500
Question:
Im looking at installing a Reece model 56001-53 fifth wheel kit in my 2012 Silverado 3500hd 4x4, dually. I am also looking at installing Firestone airbags. Can I install airbags with the 56001-53 fifth wheel rail kit without any mounting conflicts?

According to my contact at Firestone, their # F2613 Ride Rite kit is compatible with the frame brackets included with the Reese # RP56001-53.
A compressor kit like the Firestone Air Command # F2158 would allow you to add or remove air from the springs at the touch of a switch from the passenger cabin, rather than needing to find a compressor every time you want to adjust the air level in the bags.
