We offer beam axles rated for 3500-lbs as well as axle-less suspension systems from Timbren such as their # ASR3500S05. The advantages of these Timbren systems include a lower trailer deck height and increased ground clearance. The bolt or weld right to your trailer's frame
On this kit you can install hub/drums # AKHD-655-35-EZ-K which have the 6-on-5-1/2 bolt pattern and with them use self-adjusting electric drum brakes # AKEBRK-35L-SA (left) and # AKEBRK-35R-SA (right). Use 10-gauge wire # 10-1-1 to wire your brakes to the circuit. Either brake wire can be used for ground.
Electric trailer brakes will require a brake controller in the tow vehicle, such as the popular and reliable Prodigy P2 # 90885 which is easy to set up and operate and which our customers rate highly. If you let me know about your tow vehicle I can check for availability of a quick-connect wiring adapter to install the controller.
