Is Spare Tire Removal Necessary for Curt Class III Hitch Part 13650 on a Mercury Mariner
Question:
will my spare tire still be able to be left bracketed underneath my mariner with the trailer package installed

Expert Reply:
I reviewed the installation instructions for Curt Class III Hitch, part 13650, and spare tire removal is not mentioned. You should be able to retain the factory spare in the original location on a 2005-2010 Mariner. I have added a link to the instructions below for you to review as well as a link to a basic pin and clip, part # PC3, and a basic hitch lock, part # e98880.
