When the Curt Folding Cargo Carrier part # C18151 is folded up, the shank measures 7-1/2 inches from the hitch pin hole to the closest portion of the basket.
To determine if it will fit your Rogue when it is folded, you will have to measure the distance from the hitch pin hole in the receiver to the point of the bumper that is furthest to the rear. If this measurement is less than 7-1/2 inches, the Curt Cargo Carrier will work great for you.
If you should find that the Curt Carrier will not work for you, then I would check out the etrailer Folding Cargo Carrier part # e98874. The etrailer carrier measures 9-1/2 inches from the hitch pin hole to the basket when folded. This is the most clearance of any of the folding carriers. Is this is not enough clearance, then you would have to go with a stationary carrier. I hope this helps.
I have attached video reviews for each of the carriers for you to check out.
