Best Replacement Head for a Pro Series 15k Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation
Question:
Is it worth the higher price for the 20k head? I need to replace the junk 15k head wich is worn out after only 15000 miles. Any other pros or cons? I need flexibility on rough terrain, GVWR is only 12600lbs thx

For a trailer that weighs 12.6k lbs there really wouldn't be an advantage to going with the 20k fifth wheel head part # 30118 over the 16k part # PS30854.
For an actual upgrade I would recommend the part # RP30047A. We have spoken with Cequent who is the manufacturer of Reese and Pro Series and they state that the Reese hitch is built with sturdier parts although the design of the two heads are basically the same.
