Tow Bar Wiring Recommendation for a 2007 Honda Civic
Question:
Can you use a towing wiring harness kit to use as the towed vehicle? Im towing a 2007 Honda Civic behind a new Fleetwood motorhome with a tow bar and a 4 way flat plug. What do I need to make the tail lights work in the car, when Im towing the car? Thanks

This is a good question, but you would need tow bar wiring to activate the taillights of your 2007 Honda Civic. You can not use trailer wiring in reverse as this could damage the vehicle's taillight circuits.
For lighting you can use the diode kit, # RM-152, and not have to worry about cutting into the taillight housing. You will also want the # BX88206 to connect this lighting solution to your tow vehicle. This comes with a round 6-way connector that you will install on the front of your towed vehicle and enough coiled wire to go from there to the RV.
