Is Bumper Trimming Required to Install a Trailer Hitch on a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country
Question:
I was wondering if this hitch can be installed on the 2016 Town and Country without any trimming as mine is a lease!. And, if so, what the clearance from the hitch opening to the ground is?

Based on an installation we did of Curt hitch # 13364 on a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country you will not have to trim the rear fascia to install the hitch. However, it may press up some on the bottom of the fascia directly above the receiver. I have included a link to a video showing installation on a 2016 model for you.
When installed the hitch measures approximately 13-1/4 inches for the ground to the top of the receiver opening. If measuring to the bottom of the receiver it would be approximately 11 inches.
If you plan on doing some towing I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK4EL. It comes with a ball mount with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop, interchangeable ball set, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
And to add a 4-Way trailer connector to the rear of the vehicle I recommend # C56331. I have included a link to a video showing how the wiring installs as well.
