Why Would Trailer Coupler Latch Cut into Hitch Ball
Question:
I have a fulton coupler # F346000301 that i just put on my trailer. The coupler is for a 2inch ball. The latch is cutting in to the ball . How can this be repaired ? Is there a kit that i can get to replace the latch?

Sounds like the latch of your Fulton Fast-Lok Coupler # F346000301 is either adjusted too tight and/or is damaged.
The nut you see on the bottom of the latch, try loosing it slightly to see if it end up putting less stress on the ball. You will want to test fit a 2 inch hitch ball in this coupler to make sure it is tight enough to be secure but not too tight.
