Recommended Bike Rack for 2014 Cadillac ELR 2-Door Coupe

We do not show any confirmed hitch fits for a trailer hitch for the 2014 Cadillac ELR 2-door coupe.
I checked with Hidden Hitch, Draw-Tite and Curt - our three main hitch suppliers - and none offers hitches for your car. This has to do with the extensive fascia trimming that would be required.

But we can still help you with a bike rack. You'll simply use one of the confirmed fits for trunk-mount racks. The linked page shows you all 2-bike trunk racks confirmed to fit your ELR.

For an easy-to-use rack I recommend Thule's OutWay 2 rack # TH45JV. Unlike most bike racks this unique carrier uses only 2 coated steel cables - rather than 6 cumbersome nylon straps - to attach the rack to your trunk. The Raceway even includes locks for both the rack itself and for your loaded bikes. The linked video will show you the OutWay's features and installation.

If you'd like a budget-minded rack then instead consider the Thule Gateway XT # TH88VR. This rack also features Thule's patented FitDial system and anti-sway technology, but it does not include locks. A video on this rack is also provided.

The Outway offers a total bike weight of 66 pounds and the Gateway offers total bike weight capacity of 70-lbs.

If either bike has an alternative frame design without a horizontal top frame tube then you'll want for that bike an adapter bar such as # UB01 which is shown in the linked video. These simply attach between the seat and handlebar posts to provide a level mounting surface to mate with the carrier; this provides better ground clearance at the wheels.
