How Much Mounting Space is Required to Fit Mountain Bikes on Swagman Park City Bike Stand S64016
Question:
Can you tell me the end to end length of the rack plus bikes with a bike on each side? Im wondering if I can fit this in a 5x8 space a trailer.

The overall side-to-side length of the Swagman Park City Indoor/Outdoor Bicycle Parking Stand # S64016 is 33-3/4-inches. This is well within the 5-foot (60-inch) width of your 5x8 trailer. This means that there will be roughly 13-inches of space on either side of the stand (60 inches - 34 inches = 26 inches / 2 = 13 inches). You can measure your bikes' bars to see how wide they are. Measure from the center the handlebar stem to the outside edge of one hand grip. If this distance is less than 13 inches then the bikes should fit on the stand and remain within the 5-foot-wide area where you will install it.
The bikes may still fit fine even if their bars are wider since the front tires will be positioned in the vertical channels in the stand and these are located inside of the overall 33-3/4-inch width.
