Scissor Step Recommendation for 2004 Nissan Titan with Slide In Camper
Question:
Hello, I have a slide in pop-up camper for my 2004 Nissan Titan. Currently I am using step stools for the humans and a sliding ramp for my aging German Shepard. As I am sure you are aware, the distance from tailgate to ground can very much more in a slide in, depending on the level of vehicle to ground, and ground slope. Especially when off road, or even in a lot of leveled campgrounds. I am looking at getting a set of Scissor steps to replace both the step stools and ramp, as a higher tailgate can make the ramp to steep to run up, especially when wet. I have been looking at the Tork-lift and Brophy steps, and I have read that you can add/remove up to 6 steps with the Tork-lifts. In addition to this you can get the all terrain landing gear to assist in step height/placement. Does the Brophy have the same ability to add/remove steps, and do they have landing gear? Also I noticed that you can buy a safety step barrier. Does Brophy have this as well, or can the Tork Lifts be used with the Brophy steps? Thank You for you time.
